It’s no Friday the 13th, but there is plenty of mystery and intrigue that surrounds the coming of the full moon. Tonight just happens to be one of those nights. Tonight there will be a full moon in the night sky. It kind of makes you wish it was Halloween, doesn’t it? But who knows, maybe the full moon is ushering in an All Hallows’ Eve like none we’ve ever seen…

As you probably know, the full moon is associated with many myths and mysteries. Some of the most interesting ones include: if you stare directly at the full moon too long you will become a werewolf, a full moon induces labor, witches use the full moon to amplify their powers, if the moonlight from the full moon shines into your bedroom it will bring you bad luck, if you look at the full moon for the first time over your right shoulder you will be granted a wish, etc.
But the full moon is also commonly associated with All Hallows’ Eve aka Halloween. How many times have you seen pictures of Halloween night with a full moon in the background? Witches are usually portrayed flying in front of a full moon on Halloween. The full moon carries with it a magic and mystery that none dare unravel.
So, as you welcome in the full moon this evening, keep a watchful eye on the night. Look out for werewolves and remember, the veil between our world and the spirit world is rumored to be thinnest on All Hallows’ Eve…
