The Poor Stairs Look So Lonely
Be honest, if you had your choice, would you rather take the stairs or ride the escalator? In some places, like this underground in the Philippines, the poor stairs look so lonely. The escalator is having to carry the heavy weight while the stairs look sad enough to cry. I guess that’s what happens when people get used to urban living. I wonder what they’d do if the escalator broke down. I’m sure the stairs wouldn’t mind!
