The Breathtaking Beauty of Yosemite Falls
Yosemite Falls, located in the Yosemite National Park in California, is one of the highest and most stunning waterfalls in North America. The beauty of the falls is only enhanced by the breathtaking scenery surrounding it. It is the kind of setting that will literally take your breath away. Not surprisingly, it is also one of the most photographed places in Yosemite National Park.

It is reportedly the 5th highest falls in the world. What you may not be aware of is Yosemite Falls actually has 3 major drops; the first drop measures 1430 feet, the second drop measures 675 feet and the third drop measures 320 feet. In total that turns Yosemite Falls into a stunning 2425 foot waterfall.
One of the best ways to experience Yosemite Falls, up close and personal, is to hike the Yosemite Falls trail. The trail is approximately 7 miles round-trip and depending on your speed (and how many times you stop for photo ops), it should take you about 5 hours.
Now, of course, the truly natural beauty that catches your eye when you visit Yosemite Falls in person cannot be shown in pictures. But we feel these photographers have done a good job of capturing some of its wonder.
