Telephones Through the Ages
It seems that everyday I am hearing more and more news about new and improved cell phones. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I got my very first one and now I can’t do without it. Many kids these days can’t even remember a time without cell phones.

It reminds me of something funny I heard a few weeks ago about a father and son getting lost while driving in the back woods. They came to a small canteen and the father went in for directions. When he came out his son pointed to a telephone booth and said, “Look at that dad. It’s for people who forgot their cell phones at home.”
Just goes to show how far the telephone has come since it was first invented back in 1876. Can you imagine what it was like before the telephone or even the cell phone?
