Admiring the City Lights from High Above in Rocketship Park
Ahhh, good old Rocketship Park! Ever since the first time I went there it has been a favorite of mine. Although changes have been made over the years, the iconic rocket ship still stands tall overlooking the city of Torrance, CA below. I’ll tell you, my kids enjoy climbing high in the rocket ship and blasting off on adventures just as much as my friends and I did when we were young. Of course, once you’re done on your rocket ship ride, just blast down the slide and head on over to the swing set. If you get high enough on the swings it almost seems as if you’re flying over the city. I’ll admit, seeing the city lights sparkling at night is a beautiful sight, but on a clear day there’s nothing like seeing the beach from atop Rocketship Park.
